Reliance jio now giving landline services to jio GigaFiber subscribers. The development comes a month after the company was seen testing triple play plan for GigaFiber subscribers in which jio was offering unlimited voice calling support. The company did not give any statement about the Rolling out of the landline or the expanded commercial availability of the GigaFibre source itself.
According to Jio GigaFiber user Preshit Deorukhhar's tweet, Reliance jio has now offering its broadband service users with a Landline connection that uses the companies Gigahub Home Gateway. The Gateway is already installed in the premises of all existing gigafiber user to provide the fibre connectivity and it will be also reportedly used to provide the Giga Tv aka Jio Home TV Service.
He revealed that company is asking the subscribers telephone instrument to use the service.
" jio has started offering inactivating landline services through its gigafiber service using the jio Gigahub you get an 8-digit landline number starting with 3xxx and you have to source your own POTS (Plain Old Telephone Service) Instruments", Peshit wrote in a Twitter.
Reliance revealed its AGM last year that Gigafiber by providing broadband, IPTV, landline, video conferencing, VR gaming, etc will act as an all-in-one solution.
Reliance jio is yet to start expanded rollout of Gigafiber Service and Still it is onboarding a limited number of subscribers in selected cities on the preview plan.
A Recent report had suggested meanwhile, that a Reliance jio will offer a Combo plan to its user for as low as Rs. 600. This plan will include access to broadband, TV and landline services

It is to be noted that the Jio Landline Services Are Not immediately available to all but are gradually being offered to its users.
According to the Jio Customer Service representative, when Jio TV and Landline Service are rolled out for respective subscribers, they will be informed via call or message.
