Xiaomi Revelas That Redmi 6, Redmi 6A, Redmi S2 Won’t Get Android 9 Pie Update - technoxmart

Redmi 6A, Redmi 6 & Redmi S2 will not get their MIUI-Based Android 9 Pie Update, on its forum Xiaomi has Revealed. The MIUI Team of the Xiaomi has updated the Android 9 Pie Roll Out Timeline Present On Its Official Forums to reflect that update Process for Redmi 6, Redmi 6A & Redmi S2  has been suspended. The Redmi S2  is known as Redmi Y2 outside China. The Company Did Not Share Any Reason Behind That Decision. The Redmi S2  was introduced in May 2018, Whereas the Redmi 6  & Redmi 6A was launched this year in June.

As Per An Updated Post on Xiaomi’s Official MIUI Forums, For Redmi 6 , Redmi 6A & Redmi S2 the company’s plans regarding the Android 9 Pie Update have changed and the development of the update has been suspended. This Post Is Meant For Chinese Versions of these Smartphone meanwhile, Xiaomi is Unlikely Will update The International Versions & Not The Chinese Ones.

The Android 9 Pie Update Among The Other Xiaomi Phones,  For Mi Mix 2, Mi 6, & Mi Note 3 is still On its way and the beta testing for the Three Phones will begin later this quarter.
