Cook, alongside organization's Retail Head Deirdre O'Brien, Marketing Chief Phil Schiller and city's Mayor Muriel Bowser, initiated the library, which has more than 200 workers, on Friday.
"Roads enable guests to get hands-on with the most recent items in the perusing rooms," Apple wrote in its blog entry on Saturday.
