People posting against the film said their characters named Krishna and Radha offended them.

#BoycottNetflix is slanting on Twitter in India today as a few clients are not content with a Telugu film Krishna and His Leela that dropped on Netflix a week ago. While most of the tweets that are a piece of #BoycottNetflix hashtag are images ridiculing the hashtag itself, a few clients said they were outraged by the film and its characters who are named Krishna and Radha.

References to any divine beings, gods, or religion have consistently been precarious subjects for movies, books, and other media in India, and different nations also.
