Mubi India Releases On February 2020: Don, Mera Naam Joker & 56 More

Amongst The Masoon, Gol Maal, Neecha Nagar, Devdas, Mughal-e-Azam.

Mubi has now announced that 56 films—29 from India and 27 from the rest of the world — will be available on their platform in February 2020. It includes Mughal-e-Azam, Zero Dark Thirty, Don, Gol Maal, Devdas, Chupke Chupke, Nagar and Joker Mera Naam. Their work is extremely significant. The films feature Satyajit Ray, Hrishikesh Mukherjee, Gulzar, Shyam Benegal, Bimal Roy, Kathryn Bigelow, John Waters, Gus Van Sant, Luca Guadagnino and Jean-Marc Vallée.

Two films, one Indian and the other foreign, will be added in February every day, with each film available for the next 30 days, as is usual for Mubi. In February, Mubi also included in the line-up "Mubi World" the 1951 Raj Kapoor Crime Drama, "Awaar / The Vagabond," and the above-mentioned Mughal-e-Azam for the discrepancy between Indians and foreign films.

Of the 29 Indian films, no other film is available on other platforms, 7— Nagar Neecha, Aawara, Polish Boot, Jaagte Rahos, Bhumika and Kotnis Ki, Amar Kahani and Meal. Just two— Zero Dark Thirty and Foxcatcher — are on other channels for international entertainment. In India, Mubi has been available for three months at an initial price of Rs. 199.
